Volleyball Recap: Williston Northampton Comes Up Short at Home Against Northfield Mount Hermon

Williston Northampton unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Northfield Mount Hermon Hoggers by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Hoggers from their previous meeting back in November of 2022.

Northfield Mount Hermon's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Williston Northampton has already played their next contest (against Stoneleigh-Burnham), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Northfield Mount Hermon, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Phillips Academy at 4:00 p.m. on October 18.
