After low-scoring totals in their previous four contest, Reeths-Puffer brought some dynamite into their most recent match. Their defense stepped up to hand the Muskegon Big Reds a 9-0 shutout on Wednesday. That nine goal margin sets a new team best for Reeths-Puffer this season.

Reeths-Puffer's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four games. As for Muskegon, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.
