Basketball Recap: Pella Christian Takes a Loss

Pella Christian suffered their biggest defeat since December 19, 2024 on Friday. They were beaten by the Pella Dutch 72-44. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 141st, while the Dutch are ranked 35th).

Pella Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Pella, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pella Christian will face off against Dallas Center-Grimes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pella, they will challenge North Polk at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.
