Football Recap: East Orange Campus Skates Past Bloomfield with Ease + How To Watch

East Orange Campus put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Bloomfield Bengals 34-6. The Jaguars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bengals, too.

East Orange Campus' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyshawn Sewell, who rushed for 119 yards and one touchdown. Those 119 rushing yards gave Sewell a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaleel Halsey, who rushed for 70 yards and one score on only eight carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: East Orange Campus was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 330 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Another reason for the win was East Orange Campus' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. In that department, Abdur Raham - Ali was the leader with two.

East Orange Campus' victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Bloomfield, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-2.

East Orange Campus has already played their next game, a 34-28 win against Eastside on the 11th. As for Bloomfield, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-7 victory against Kennedy on the 10th.
