The Collegiate Cougars got the win against the Life Christian Academy Eagles on Wednesday by a conclusive 14-4. Considering the Cougars have won nine contests by more than eight runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Collegiate has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 16-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Life Christian Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Collegiate will venture away from home to take on St. Anne's-Belfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Life Christian Academy, they will head out to face off against Saint John Paul the Great Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Wolves have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
