Basketball Recap: Forest Hill Comes Up Short

Forest Hill lost against Palm Beach Central back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Forest Hill Falcons received a blow as they fell 52-33 to the Palm Beach Central Broncos. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 395th, while the Broncos are ranked 44th).

Forest Hill now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Palm Beach Central, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forest Hill won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Dr. Joaquin Garcia at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dr. Joaquin Garcia has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Palm Beach Central, they will head out on the road to challenge Wellington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
