Durham has been on the road for three straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will welcome the Winters Warriors at 7:30 p.m. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Durham: 15.5, Winters: 8.5) so any points scored will be well earned.

Durham is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Biggs on Friday. Durham took a 30-15 bruising from Biggs. The loss was the Trojans' first of the season.

Meanwhile, Winters put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 42-7 victory over Live Oak at home. Considering the Warriors have won three games by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Sebastian Rodriguez was his usual excellent self, rushing for 105 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, while also picking up 56 receiving yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2023. Another player making a difference was Lane Brown, who threw for 144 yards and two touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.

Winters wouldn't let Live Oak keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force five fumbles. Ricky Garcia led the group effort, picking up two of those forced fumbles all by himself. Julian Herrera is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made eight or more in the last five games he's played dating back to last season.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Winters was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 366 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Live Oak only rushed for 84.

Durham was dealt a bruising 48-14 defeat at the hands of Winters in their previous meeting back in October of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Winters' Sebastian Valadez, who picked up 118 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Now that Durham knows the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
