M.J. Walker Jr. of Jonesboro (Ga.) has had a big week at the MaxPreps Holiday Classic in Palm Springs, Calif.

The 6-foot-5, 210-pound athletic wing went for 24 points against the No. 1 team in the nation Tuesday night and 26 in the quarterfinals.

But the Top 25 2017 prospect put an exclamation mark on things Wednesday by scoring 39 points and crushing a pair of monster dunks in the first half of the third-place game against Bishop Gorman of Las Vegas.

Following a controversial block/charge call on a made bucket with 0.2 seconds remaining, Jonesboro won the game 65-64.
