Baseball Recap: Citronelle Comes Up Short

The Citronelle Wildcats came up short against the Bibb County Choctaws on Thursday, falling 15-4. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

James Reid and JJ Rivers stepped up to the plate in a big way. Reid scored two runs and stole Two bases., while Rivers scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those two runs gave Reid a new career-high.

Citronelle's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Bibb County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Citronelle Wildcats duke it out with Foley Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bibb County, they will take on Ariton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Ariton comes in on 11 and Bibb County on three.
