Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Buckeye Local). They were the clear victor by a 56-30 margin over the Brooke Bruins on Monday. The win was all the more spectacular given the Panthers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 727th in Ohio, while the Bruins are ranked 118th in West Virginia).

Buckeye Local's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-14. As for Brooke, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Buckeye Local has already played their next matchup (against Claymont), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Brooke will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Beaver Local at 1:30 p.m.
