Basketball Recap: Fennimore Takes a Loss

Fennimore was the 43-42 winner over River Valley when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Golden Eagles fell just short of the Blackhawks by a score of 56-53 on Monday.

Fennimore's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-2. As for River Valley, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fennimore and Dodgeville will round out the year against one another at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for River Valley, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Brodhead at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2026.
