Baseball Game Preview: Crowder Demons vs. Pittsburg Panthers

Crowder is a perfect 6-0 against Pittsburg since March of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Crowder Demons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pittsburg Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Neither Crowder nor Pittsburg posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Crowder's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 victory over Clayton. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Demons have posted since March 26, 2024.

Meanwhile, Pittsburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 12-0 to Indianola.

The victory made it two in a row for Crowder and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Pittsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
