Soccer Recap: Sebring Finishes Even with Lake Gibson

For the first time since back in December of 2024, Sebring was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. Neither they nor the Lake Gibson Braves could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Gigi Guerra and Scarlett Lackey scored both of Sebring's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 36 goals.

Sebring's draw gives them a new season record of 9-7-2. Meanwhile, Lake Gibson's record is now 10-7-3.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Sebring will square off against Kathleen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sebring is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season. As for Lake Gibson, they will take on Lakeland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Gibson also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 3.5 goals per game.
