Softball Recap: Northside Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Northside Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Richard Winn Academy Eagles, falling 15-4. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2023.

Northside Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Richard Winn Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northside Christian Academy will venture away from home to square off against Lee Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Crusaders are facing the Cavaliers at the right time seeing as the Cavaliers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Richard Winn Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Laurens Academy at 5:30 p.m. on the 11th.
