Softball Recap: Bald Knob Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Bald Knob made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Midland, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 12-2 win on Monday. Considering the Bulldogs have won seven games by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory was the third in a row for Bald Knob, bringing their record up to 10-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Midland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11.

Looking ahead, Bald Knob will head out on the road to face off against Riverview at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Raiders have now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Midland, they will face off against Brinkley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
