Frontier had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt South Newton on Tuesday. The Falcons put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 16-7 win. Considering the Falcons have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Frontier is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for South Newton, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-18.

Frontier will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rebels: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
