Volleyball Recap: Dublin Comes Up Short

Dublin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Foothill Falcons. The Gaels were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Dublin's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Foothill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Dublin has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against San Ramon Valley on the 3rd. As for Foothill, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against De La Salle at 6:30 p.m. on the 15th.
