Sacred Heart-Griffin came out on top against Lexington on Friday thanks in part to Kenzie Wieland's efforts. Wieland was dialed in as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. It looks like she has Lexington's number considering she had a big game the last time she faced them back in May of 2024. Wieland has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 14 consecutive appearances.
