Basketball Game Preview: Paradise Valley Trojans vs. Youngker Roughriders

Paradise Valley is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 61-56 heartbreaker at the hands of Carl Hayden Community.

Meanwhile, Youngker hadn't done well against Desert Edge recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Youngker snuck past Desert Edge with a 71-65 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Roughriders.

Paradise Valley's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Youngker, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.

Everything went Paradise Valley's way against Youngker when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Paradise Valley made off with a 63-43 victory. Will Paradise Valley repeat their success, or does Youngker have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
