Baseball Recap: Pueblo Starts Season with Loss at Home

Pueblo unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 12-1 to the Cholla Chargers on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now lost four in a row.

Pueblo saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Cuen, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. What's more, Cuen posted two hits, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.

Looking ahead, Pueblo will square off against Amphitheater at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cholla, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Tanque Verde at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
