Basketball Recap: Walsenburg Takes a Loss

Walsenburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a blow against the Crowley County Chargers, falling 100-22. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 58-11.

Despite the loss, Walsenburg still got an impressive performance from Logan Tenorio, who posted eight points and 15 boards. Tenorio is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 15 games he's played.

Walsenburg's record now sits at 2-16. As for Crowley County, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers duke it out with the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crowley County, they will square off against Calhan at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
