Volleyball Recap: Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Bishop McGuinness Villains, falling 3-0. The Phoenix were not able to make up for their defeat to the Villains from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-7, 25-15.

Natalie Ma was a one-woman wrecking crew For Bishop McGuinness. as she had 15 aces and nine digs. Those 15 aces gave Ma a new career-high.

Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bishop McGuinness, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy is set to take on their familiar foe North Stokes at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bishop McGuinness will square off against rival South Stokes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
