Basketball Game Preview: Bullitt Central Cougars vs. Frankfort Panthers

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Bullitt Central Cougars duke it out with the Frankfort Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday... Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Bullitt Central turned things around against Thomas Nelson on Thursday. They walked away with a 69-60 win over the Generals.

Meanwhile, Frankfort blew past Louisville Collegiate, posting a 76-35 victory. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 26 points or more this season.

Bullitt Central's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-13. As for Frankfort, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-6.

Everything went Bullitt Central's way against Frankfort in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as Bullitt Central made off with a 71-46 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bullitt Central since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
