Recap: Simon Tech Huskies vs. Animo Watts Warriors
The Simon Tech Huskies suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They suffered a tough 72-46 loss at the hands of Animo Watts. Simon Tech was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-10.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Animo Watts to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaden Em, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Em also posted eight assists for the first time this season. Jahari Fisher was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven steals.
Simon Tech's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Animo Watts, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Simon Tech will look to defend their home court on Thursday against New Designs Watts at 3:00 p.m. New Designs Watts will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Animo Watts, they will head out on the road to take on Burton at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. Burton comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 25 points in their last nine games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
