The Mariner Tritons will head out to face off against the Immokalee Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mariner is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.
Mariner's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past North Port 7-0. Considering the Tritons have won 11 matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Gabi Winters was a major factor no matter where she played. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 18 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 20 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
In other batting news, Morgan Tucker was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and one RBI. Rylie Moore was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Immokalee entered their tilt with Moore Haven on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Terriers by a score of 12-8.
The team relied heavily on Dora Sanchez, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three RBI. What's more, she posted two hits, the most she's had since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Leyah Rodriguez, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs and one double.
Mariner has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Immokalee, their record now sits at 10-14.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Mariner hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. However, it's not like Immokalee struggles in that department as they've averaged .384. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Mariner suffered a grim 14-2 defeat to Immokalee when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can the Tritons avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
