Basketball Recap: Shullsburg Comes Up Short

Shullsburg and Southwestern squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Shullsburg had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Southwestern Wildcats, falling 86-47. The Miners have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meetings.

Shullsburg's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Southwestern, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-5.

Shullsburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southwestern, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-56 victory against Barneveld on the 8th.
