Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kennedy). They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat the Tustin Tillers 33-6. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Fighting Irish's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California flag football rankings (they are ranked 240th, while the Tillers are ranked 660th).

Ariana Navarro was her usual excellent self, throwing for 200 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 92 yards and one score on only 11 carries. What's more, she racked up 100.6 passer rating, the most she's had since September 3rd. Alyssa Cordova was Navarro's top target, picking up 46 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Kennedy has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.1 points on average over those games. As for Tustin, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Kennedy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 19-13 loss against Westminster on the 1st. As for Tustin, they have also already played their next game, a 32-6 defeat against Valencia on the 1st.
