Basketball Recap: Southwest Virginia Academy Takes a Loss

Southwest Virginia Academy played a tough match on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the James River HomeSchool Eagles, falling 77-46. The Conquerors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-18.

Southwest Virginia Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season. As for James River HomeSchool, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southwest Virginia Academy will host Hargrave Military Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for James River HomeSchool, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Bridge Academy at 7:45 p.m. on February 10th.
