Griffin had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.2 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They strolled past the Baldwin Braves with points to spare, taking the game 63-47. For the Bears, this counts as revenge for the 56-53 victory the Braves walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Baldwin's loss came despite strong showings from Jaylen King and Karez Demory. King made all 5 shots he took to post 11 points and six boards, while Demory posted 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Deven Nelson, who earned seven points.

Griffin pushed their record up to 17-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Baldwin, their loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-7.

As of now, neither Griffin nor Baldwin have any future games scheduled.
