Volleyball Game Preview: McCurdy Bobcats vs. Santa Fe Indian Braves + How To Watch

The McCurdy Bobcats will venture away from home to square off against the Santa Fe Indian Braves at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. McCurdy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

On Tuesday, McCurdy was able to grind out a solid win over Escalante, taking the game 3-1.

The victory didn't come easy: Escalante scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 22-25, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Santa Fe Indian faced St. Michael's in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Braves fell just short of the Horsemen by a score of 3-2. The Braves' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Santa Fe Indian started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 21-25, 25-15, 25-15, 15-8.

Santa Fe Indian's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for McCurdy, their win bumped their record up to 14-3.

McCurdy might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Santa Fe Indian in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Bobcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
