Soccer Recap: Lake Cormorant Comes Up Short

Lake Cormorant and Warren Central squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Lake Cormorant had to settle for second. They came up short against the Warren Central Vikings, falling 7-3. Lake Cormorant was not able to make up for their loss to Warren Central from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Lake Cormorant now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Warren Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-2-2.

Lake Cormorant does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Warren Central, they will square off against Saltillo on Saturday. Warren Central is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season.
