Softball Recap: Everett Comes Up Short

Everett blew Tussey Mountain out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Tussey Mountain got their revenge. The Warriors fell just short of the Titans by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Warriors have suffered since April 17, 2024.

Everett has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-6 record this season. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the defeats came by an average of only 1.33 runs. As for Tussey Mountain, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Everett will take on Southern Huntingdon County at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tussey Mountain, they will head out to take on Forbes Road at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
