Volleyball Recap: Union City Indians vs. Union Rockets
Union City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They came up short against the Union Rockets, falling 3-0. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rockets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2023.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Scarlett VanMeter, who had 14 digs. VanMeter has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Shelby Arnold, who had seven digs and six kills.
Union City's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Union, the win snapped their losing streak at seven games and leaves them with a 3-8 record.
Union City will venture away from home to challenge Blue River Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union, they will host Centerville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
