Basketball Recap: San Jacinto Valley Academy Comes Up Short

San Jacinto Valley Academy lost against Temecula Prep back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The San Jacinto Valley Academy Wolves were dealt a 76-34 loss at the hands of the Temecula Prep Patriots. The Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-18.

Carter Kelly and Day Edwards certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Kelly posted ten points, while Edwards had eight points.

San Jacinto Valley Academy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Temecula Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.

San Jacinto Valley Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Temecula Prep, they are taking a road trip to square off against San Jacinto Leadership Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
