For the first time this season, Northside will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will be playing at home against the Farragut Admirals at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Northside will be strutting in after a win while Farragut will be coming in after a defeat.
Northside is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over Disney II on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Mustangs needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Rowan Yen was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Jesse Nick was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. John Piper was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles.
Northside always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Disney II only posted an OBP of .400.
Meanwhile, Farragut came up short against Stevenson on Friday, falling 14-1. The Admirals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Farragut saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nico Roman, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.
Northside has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Farragut, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Northside has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Farragut struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 5.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
