Softball Recap: Fairview Comes Up Short

Fairview lost against Good Hope back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Aggies fell 6-1 to the Raiders. The Aggies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Addison Phillips was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Good Hope, they pushed their record up to 20-11-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairview will square off against Vinemont at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Good Hope, they will face off against Cordova at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
