Volleyball Recap: New Life Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

New Life Academy's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Columbia Wildcats by a score of 3-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bobcats as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 22-25, 25-16, 26-24.

New Life Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Columbia, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Life Academy will face off against Ahoskie Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Columbia, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Hobgood Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
