Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Dunne). They put the hurt on the Great Hearts Irving Mustangs with a sharp 16-1 victory on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Falcons considering their one-run performance the game before.

Christian Mathis was a standout: he scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-3. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits. Another player making a difference was Tony Castillo, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 2-for-2.

Bishop Dunne always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .615. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Great Hearts Irving only posted an OBP of .348.

Bishop Dunne's record is now 4-8-1. As for Great Hearts Irving, they now have a losing record of 1-2-1.

Coming up, Bishop Dunne will venture away from home to take on Trinity Leadership at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Great Hearts Irving will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bishop Dunne at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th.
