St. Mary extended their postseason success on Friday against Bakersfield Christian. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 27-24 win over the Eagles. The victory was nothing new for the Rams as they're now sitting on ten straight.

Jaden Galvan produced another solid performance throwing for 250 yards and a pair of TDs on only 19 passes. 87 of Galvan's passing yards were hauled in by Kenneth Moore iii, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something St. Mary's proved: they limited Bakersfield Christian to a paltry 2.9 yards per carry. The team can thank Mason Eagal for the heroic effort on defense: he. St. Mary's didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.1.

St. Mary's didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Mil Neudeck and Eagal. Eagal also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 11.

Bakersfield Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Buddah Wallace, who picked up 140 receiving yards and two scores. Michael Smith also helped out as he racked up 212 receiving yards.

St. Mary's win bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Bakersfield Christian, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 13-1.
