Football Recap: Southwest Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Southwest's offense. They were beaten by the Belen Jesuit Wolverines 42-0 on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost nine in a row.

Pedro Cabrera threw for 32 yards on ten of 22 attempts.

Southwest's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Belen Jesuit, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Southwest didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 49-0 loss against Southridge on the 10th. As for Belen Jesuit, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 43-0 win against South Miami on the 9th.
