Recap: Chanhassen Storm vs. Eden Prairie Eagles
The Chanhassen Storm lost against the Eden Prairie Eagles back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Chanhassen fell to Eden Prairie 60-54. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Chanhassen in their matchups with Eden Prairie: they've now lost eight in a row.
Eden Prairie's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ella Hardwick, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. The match was Hardwick's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Vanessa Jordan was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five steals.
Chanhassen's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Eden Prairie, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Waconia the next time they take the court. Eden Prairie will head out to face Waconia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Chanhassen will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
