Volleyball Recap: Palmyra Panthers vs. Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays

Palmyra lost against Ashland-Greenwood back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Palmyra Panthers fell just short of the Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays by a score of 3-2. While the Panthers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bluejays 25-23 in the first set.

Palmyra took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-19, 22-25, 25-20, 15-11.

Despite the loss, Palmyra still got an impressive performance from Audrey Erhart, who had 13 digs and 28 assists. Erhart is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in the last 20 games she's played.

Palmyra's defeat dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Ashland-Greenwood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-11.

As of now, neither Palmyra nor Ashland-Greenwood have any future games scheduled.
