Softball Recap: East Hickman County Comes Up Short

East Hickman County fell victim to Creek Wood and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 8-0 to the Red Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in March.

East Hickman County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for Creek Wood, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Hickman County will face off against Cheatham County Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Creek Wood, they will take on Waverly Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
