Basketball Recap: Northwestern Trojans vs. North Central Knights
Northwestern had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the North Central Knights, posting an 82-5 victory. The Trojans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northwestern to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joshalyn Colvin, who went 5 for 8 en route to 12 points plus six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lael Lowery, who had 11 points plus five steals.
Northwestern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 55-34 win against Central Cabarrus on the 30th. As for North Central, they will look to take advantage of their home-court for the first time this season as they take on Camden at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
