Baseball Game Preview: Indian Trail Hawks vs. Kenosha Bradford Red Devils

For the second straight game, Indian Trail will face off against Kenosha Bradford. The Hawks will challenge the Red Devils at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, Indian Trail earned an 8-4 win over Kenosha Bradford. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Red Devils recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Sam Callow made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.

In other pitching news, Connor Peck looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).

Back at the plate, Indian Trail let Jack Zeller and Connor Shada run wild. Zeller went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one triple, while Shada scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most RBI Zeller has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nate Geraghty, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-4.

The win got Indian Trail back to even at 2-2. As for Kenosha Bradford, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
