Football Recap: Elkhart Elks vs. Winona Wildcats
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Arp, Elkhart was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Winona Wildcats with a sharp 45-21 win. The high-scoring effort was just what the Elks needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.
Dalton Walker was his usual excellent self, rushing for 240 yards and four scores while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. Elkhart also got help from Callyn Franklin, who showed off his sure hands for 82 receiving yards.
