Mater Academy Charter extended their home winning streak to three games  thanks to a huge performance from  Aheizer Frais. The Mater Academy Charter Lions simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat the Hialeah Gardens Gladiators 70-36 thanks in part to  Frais, who  went 9 for 11  on his way to 21  points and four  steals. Those 21 points gave  him a new career-high.
  Ethan Davis was another key player,  putting up four  points. He is also on a roll when it comes to  steals, as he's  now  grabbed two or more in the last three games he's  played.
 Several Gladiators players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Robert Masis, who  posted five points and nine  boards. Another player making a difference was  Eduardo Hernandez, who  scored five  points along with five  rebounds and four  blocks.
Mater Academy Charter now  has a winning record of 12-11. As for Hialeah Gardens, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when  the Mater Academy Charter Lions  take on   the Palmetto Panthers at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Mater Academy Charter is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5  points per game  this season. As for Hialeah Gardens, they will face off against Hialeah-Miami Lakes at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
