Basketball Game Preview: Jefferson Wildcats vs. Antwerp Archers

Jefferson is 0-4 against Antwerp since December of 2019 but things could change on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Jefferson Wildcats will head out on the road to face off against the Antwerp Archers at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Jefferson is headed into Saturday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Allen East an easy 61-38 win.

Meanwhile, Antwerp scored the most points they've had this season on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell to North Central 65-60.

Antwerp now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Jefferson came up short against Antwerp in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, falling 64-52. Thankfully for Jefferson, Landon Brewer (who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 12 boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
