Softball Recap: Stivers School for the Arts Takes a Loss

Stivers School for the Arts was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 13-1 to the Belmont Bison. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bison this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-6 last Tuesday.

Stivers School for the Arts' loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Belmont, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stivers School for the Arts will venture away from home to take on Archbishop Alter at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Belmont, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Northridge at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
