Volleyball Recap: Burlington Christian Academy's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Burlington Christian Academy entered their tilt with The Burlington School on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Spartans. That's more bragging rights for the Royals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Burlington Christian Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept The Burlington School between 13 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-13, 25-16.

Burlington Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anna Wilson, who had seven digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Wilson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ali Moldt, who had seven assists and five aces.

They weren't the only good server: Burlington Christian Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 12 consecutive matches dating back to last season.

Burlington Christian Academy's record is now 6-3. As for The Burlington School, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-7.
